Hong Kong/Malaysia/Singapore – 19 September, 2023 – GoImpact, an ESG and Sustainability education firm, is proud and honoured to announce that its CEO and Co-Founder, Ms. Helene Li, has been appointed as one of five faculties for the newly launched Mandatory Accreditation Programme Part II: Leading for Impact (LIP) for all Board Directors of publicly listed companies on Bursa Malaysia, which is an initiative of Securities Commission Malaysia, mandated by Bursa Malaysia and organized by Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia’s (“ICDM”).

This prestigious appointment places Ms. Helene Li, alongside other esteemed and professional Faculty members, reflecting her expertise and commitment to sustainability leadership. LIP is a significant initiative under the Securities Commission Malaysia's Corporate Governance Strategic Priorities 2021-2023. Mandated by Bursa Malaysia, the programme aims to equip directors with the foundational knowledge and practices needed to address sustainability matters effectively and exercise better oversight over their companies' material sustainability concerns.

Ms. Michele Kythe Lim, President & CEO of ICDM explained that the LIP has been carefully curated to focus on the baseline knowledge and key considerations surrounding sustainability, including questions which boards should direct towards management in the effort to ensure a more robust and effective oversight of sustainability risks and opportunities of the company.
